The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the most important exam for medical aspirants as it is the only exam to get admission into MBBS and BDS in India. NEET 2024 exam is conducted every year by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into the best government and private medical colleges across India for MBBS, dental, AYUSH, and nursing courses. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and will be based on the syllabi of 11 and 12 class physics, chemistry, and biology subjects. The NEET 2024 exam will be conducted in an offline mode and the question paper will consist of 200 multiple-choice objective-type questions out of which it is compulsory to answer 180 MCQs. The NEET 2024 exam question paper is segregated into Physics, Chemistry, and Biology where Biology is further divided into Botany and Zoology. Each subject is divided into two sections: Section A and B. Section A contains 35 questions and Section Bcontains 15 questions (out of which you only have to answer 10). The question papers will be based on class 11 and 12 syllabi from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Each question carries 4 marks, meaning the maximum mark for the NEET UG 2024 exam is 720. Every correct answer is awarded 4 marks while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer, no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. However, answers once marked in the NEET OMR sheet cannot be changed.

NEET UG Exam Pattern
The total duration of the NEET 2024 exam is 3 hours & 20 minutes and will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM in offline mode. Candidates should plan their time accordingly so as to not waste precious time and attempt the complete paper within the time limit. Candidates must reach the exam centre 45 minutes before the commencement of the exam. The exam booklet will be distributed 15 minutes prior to the start of the exam, make sure to read the instructions on it carefully.
